Okay kids, here goes. I’m not a sharer, and certainly not an emotion-based decision maker, as I tell myself and all my friends. This makes me feel comfortable and in control. Let’s be honest…
I picked the Christmas theme becuase that is truly my favorite season of the year, for the food, family fun, and laughter…and food of course…did I mention the food? I know it’s an issue.
Why am I blogging? Well, I never got too sucked in to the Facebook craze. In fact my password is known by a friend of mine and she often updates my profile there for me. Sometimes I log in while I’m wondering around the country in an airport, but mostly it just sits idle, and I delete the update e-mails as they arrive. I realize this does not answer the question I posed, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless.
So what’s new with me? Well, let’s assume you are one of the friends I have struggled to keep up with for the past…oh say two years…due to being “busy with work” my newly eternal state (or so it seems).
I have a townhouse here in the Atlanta metro, I have a really big daughter (Daisey – Black Great Dane), and most importantly Du and I are approaching three years. It’s like a 50th in the straight world. I travel a lot more for work than I ever used to, which has its merit. I really enjoy the marketing/sales aspect of my position, and having to do it in person when you are out of town is definatley a good fit for me. The icky part is being away from home…anyone want to remind me how my whole world was going to be nothing but business, busness, business, and I’d never get tied down to one place? Or when I grow up I can’t wait to have a 401K and retire at age 45? Yeah, things are changing…slowly…but changing.
I am officially back at the highest I have ever weight, though I feel like it doesn’t look as bad as it did when I was in 8th grade, and a bit shorter, it’s time for a change. So, I have started watching the intake again, and working out. I re-joined LA Fitness, and plan to use it this time. Anyone seeing me with icecream needs to yell at me!
This is my first blog attempt ever, so go easy on me. Keep in touch as you wish.
Good luck in your blogging endeavors!
